FITC Creative Contest Banner

It isn't often that you get to take the gloves off on a flash banner. FITC recently had a creative competition for the theme of this years FITC 2009 event: Outside the Lines. I won runner up! I've always been fascinated by the northern lights. Who knew solar wind could make something so enigmatic and sublime? I wanted to create an icy feel that utilized some transparency and played with contrast. The snowflakes are composed of the aedesign logo.
